WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY

Please note that if all four Ray Township school districts are closed, all senior activities will be cancelled for that day. Please check your local news for closings. If Armada, New Haven, Romeo, and Utica schools are closed, the Senior Center will be closed.

Below are the upcoming events we have planned. Please stop by the Township Office to register. ALL EVENTS BELOW REQUIRE PREREGISTRATION. Payment is required at the time of registration. Senior trips are non-refundable unless cancelled by the Township.

GENETTI'S HOLE IN THE WALL - April 16th departing at 10:00 am

Join us for a trip to Genetti’s Hole in the Wall in Northville and enjoy a seven- course Italian lunch along with the pilot episode of what promises to be everyone’s favorite 1970's game show: The Game of Death! As a member of the audience, you’ll get a chance to play along and even vote for the killer in this interactive comedy murder mystery.

The cost is $47 and includes transportation, lunch, and the show. The trip departs at 10:00 am and returns around 4:00 pm. Space is limited to 13 participants. Registration is required by March 13th.

MICHIGAN CENTRAL STATION AND MERCURY BURGER BAR - May 8th departing at 11:00 am

We will enjoy lunch at Mercury Burger Bar followed by a 90-minute guided tour of the Michigan Central Station in Detroit. First opened in 1913, the iconic Beaux-Arts structure once served as Detroit’s bustling railway hub until its closure in 1988. Now, as one of the city’s most beloved landmarks, the station is undergoing an ambitious restoration led by Ford Motor Company and Michigan Central.

The cost is $25 per person and includes transportation and guided tour ticket. You pay for the lunch you order. Departing at 11:00 am and returning around 4:30 pm. Space is limited to 13 people.

ONGOING SENIOR ACTIVITIES

WE WILL HAVE A SENIOR SOCIAL AND BINGO IN OUR SENIOR CENTER EVERY TUESDAY AT 11:00 AM. COME AND JOIN US!

* Free blood pressure checks on March 4th, April 1st, and May 6th.

EXERCISE CLASSES

Get moving with in-person instruction that is aligned with the needs of participants.
Every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30am - 10:30am

SENIOR EXERCISE CLASS IS CANCELLED ON MAY 13th and 15th.

CARDS

2nd and 4th Monday, 11:00am - 2:30pm
Come out and play cards while enjoying conversation with friends. 

PLEASE NOTE: THE SENIOR CENTER WILL BE CLOSED MAY 26th.
